just fun.

hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend!

not much going on around here.....mama and AR went over the mts to visit with some relatives for a couple of days while daddy stayed home with the pooches and did some yard/house-work that desparately needed done without the distraction of a certain toddler. :)

yesterday was dreary, overcast, and rainy. typical Memorial Day day. We still had family up and I grilled burgers, brats, and hotdogs for our feast. Autumn enjoyed spending time with her one set of grandparents, her aunt (my sister), and her one uncle (G's little brother).

we're planning on going back to the Butterfly Pavillion this week since Autumn's been really really wanting to go back. We're also planning a trip to the zoo once the weather warms back up...which looks like this coming weekend. All in all we hope to have some nice little family outings during our week off this week.

Autumn's two new words that cracks me up when she says them (in the right usage as well!) are "excellent!" and "disgusting!" for example: "Autumn, would you want to have 'beef taco' for dinner tonight?"....."yes!"..."okay then beef taco it is."....."Excellent!" another example: "daddy i took my shoes and socks off!"....."yeah? and why did you do that? are your feet stinky? (laughs)"...."ohhh yeahhh disgusting!" (mama and daddy both laugh)
