well, apparently the referral group that went out indeed went only to 7/22. the CCAA website has been updated, and it shows they matched through 7/22.
barring some wonderful thing like another match group going out in a week or two and then the regular one near the end of Sept....or the CCAA feeling saucy and matching from 7/23 through 8/10 in four weeks....we're NOT going to be next after all.
the wife and I feel like we've been punched in the gut. best way I can say it.
so it seems we'll have to wait until near the end of Oct for our referral AND we'll have to re-do our I-171H form. so after the home-study update, fees, and all that crap...we'll be out another $1600.oo that we were hoping we'd not have to spend so we could use it for other necessities when getting home with our daughter.
ouch.

I feel your pain! (LID 8-11-05) This one *really* hurt! This is starting to feel much like a bad dream. Hoping for a miracle in NC! :(

my wife said the same thing about the bad dream...actually she said she had a dream where she was trying to get to something but every time it was just out of reach.
guess all we can do is hope for the CCAA to do us all a good turn...and plan on another month's wait in the meantime.
