Here it is, end of the day...September 4th, 2007. Ms. Autumn Rose ChunLan's 2nd Birthday. It's her first with us obviously, and I think we did alright celebrating it with her. We didn't do anything extravagant or "over-the-top", but rather had AR's one set of grandparents as well as her Aunt 'TeeCee" over for supper, present un-wrapping, and cake. Everything went wonderfully (except for our poor rendition of HappyBirthday of course haha!) and Autumn really got into the celebration after her usual 'I'm just going to examine and think about this first before I do anything' approach.

She received very nice gifts from both sets of grandparents, her aunt, and her mama and daddy. I loved the fact that my sister got her a stuffed Brutus (Ohio State Buckeyes Mascot) to go along with the Buckeye outfit she had gotten her for Christmas after we returned home with her. Autumn loved the R/C school bus from G's dad and step-mom and greatly loved the Target gift card that my parents sent (along with lots of other stuff) since she is such a girlie-girl shopper chick. :)

Autumn wasn't sure about the ice-cream cake...whether it was too sweet or just because she's "watching her girlish figure" but over all the little party was a hit and she was very happy and excited. Now we know that her first real Christmas with us is going to be amazing. We can't wait!
