go figure. part2

umm I think I did an original 'go figure' post some time back...i don't remember, i don't recall, i have no memory of anything at all. (seems like it sometimes LOL)

so we received more snow today yipee! (sarcasm) I think we were real close to seeing some of our yard but now we will have to wait and see how it goes this weekend as it's supposed to be warmer.
I think I'm pretty much done with winter now. I mean, I don't mind snow and grew up with winters like we've had here or worse, but I guess I got spoiled by the fact that since I've been here in Colorado it has snowed and then melted away within a day or two typically.

well things have gotten a bit better on the daycare front. Autumn on this third day of daycare actually ate breakfast there (pancakes even!) and lunch (corndogs) and had an hour long nap. She hadn't napped the other two days...well she'd sleep for like 20 minutes or so, but to actually lay down and nap for that long was good. She was in a good mood, didn't cling to the one girl all day long, actually walked around on her own away from the girls and played, and danced (read: wiggled and waved arms) to the music they played. The girls said AR had a really good afternoon and was happy that she seemed alittle more 'comfortable' there. of course mom and dad were very happy to hear that (and proud to see the progress already). I figured something was up when we got there to pick her up. She's cried when she sees us...reaching out her arms for us; well, mainly mom, and then when mom holds her she sobs a bit, etc. This day however, when mom got hold of her, she smiled and was quiet and even reach over to have me hold her. She gave us both kisses and even waved bye-bye to the girls as we got ready to leave. Go figure.
It's nice to see Autumn slowly coming around and adjusting. I know, it's only been three days, but when mom and dad have been alittle unsure and worried, it's good to see her progess.

What a relief, I'm sure it weighs heavily on your mind all day how she's doing and how she'll react when you pick her up after work.

She looks darling, and very content.

Speaking of snow, Colorado is SUPPOSED to have a lot of snow, remember? I think New York and the New England states would happily give Colorado some back!
