so here we are Tuesday...
yesterday I mailed off the 'care package' to the orphanage where Autumn is at...I express mailed the visa apps to the travel agency we're using...mailed documents off to our agency...
today we got the money we needed for our trip together...including our 'orphanage fee/donation' which wonderfully enough our agency is able to wire-transfer to the Chongqing Civil Affairs office for us! I'm working on finalising our packing list and our shopping list of 'must have items before we return home'. I can't keep thinking how much things are moving right along...which is good, because we're both ready to go get Autumn! well, mentally ready...obviously there's still things to be done before we get to take off...but for today, we've jumped another hurdle. :)

we are back from China since 9/16, and I happened to check RQ. Liked your comments on attachment thread.
Our daughter, from Hunan, is Mary Rose. Her Chinese name translated to a single silver autumn leaf. I contemplated the name Autumn Rose, and got a real kick out of the fact that you chose the name Autumn for your daughter.
