always a bump in the road...

so unless the CCAA just shocks everyone by getting through most of July...the early buzz is that the cut-off day for this month's group will be 7/13/05. And, the CCAA has been moving into their new building this week apparently. So this 7/13 rumour may be more realistic. It is two business days more than last month's group so that is a positive thing. On an ealier post I mentioned I felt that this group would cut-off at around 7/14 +/- 2days. Yikes I might have been right with my gut feeling.
But, my gut feeling is also that we will get a September referal so I'm hoping that comes true as well. I'm kind of doubting we'll make it in next month's group.

I have to say both Gwyn and I have been pretty calm these last few weeks about everything. We are getting soooo close now. We may end up going ahead and having our I-171H re-done so we definitely won't have to deal with additional stress and worry if for instance things were delayed any during the time after our referral and before we travel. If we get a Sept. referral it will be late September and there's the possibility we may end up cutting things close for getting through everything and getting back home with our girl by December 6th when our I-171H expires. One just never knows. And we decided that it's a worry and stress that we can do without. I'd rather spend the money and effort to have a new...valid USCIS form and not need it than to not get it and end up with something delaying our process before travel and realising that we wouldn't make it there and back before 12/6. that would only delay our travel and process even more. and after this long wait just to get to referral, I think I'd lose it if we had to wait another couple/few months to even travel because we played the odds and lost.

I'm hoping...well, guessing that the referral group will be out next week. What ever cut-off day it ends up being (6/29/05 to ???) just puts us closer to our turn. Currently we're 31 business days from 8/10/05 in the timeline. If they do to the 13th of July then that's 11 business days which then puts us at only 20business days left. I can't imagine that the CCAA wouldn't make it to us in the next two months...
yesh...that's right....two more months.
