May Day

Ha! MayDay. funny how that seems to fit sometimes during this wait. "mayday mayday...frustrated future parents in need of assistance...mayday mayday..."
Okay, so that's not what this post is about really. Really!
Oh! first of all...the Avs beat the Stars and are in the next round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs!!!! woohoo!
Basically the main focus of everyone is the next match group which should go out at the end of this month (May). Most speculate that the CCAA should at least get to about June 21 '05 of LIDs. I personally believe it will be around there. I hope more for the 24th to be the cut-off date. 6/24/05 was a Friday. And...it leaves only one work week of LIDs to be done to finish off June. Even still, with a group sent out through 6/21 or around there, it would be pretty good news since it would be about a two weeks worth of LIDs. Lots of people suspected that it'd take the CCAA three months to match all the June '05 LIDs and I imagine that they're correct. They only matched what amounts to 6/2, 6/3, 6/4, and 6/6 at the end of this past month (April) and no one is really expecting the CCAA to finish off June with this next referral group.
My true gut feeling about when we should get a better, more solid idea of when our referral will come I think lies in the match group that should go out next month (June). I think if they match through 6/21 or so at the end of this month, it won't really tell Us anything. What should will be the match group that goes out next month because what will be the sign for us is if they match into July '05 or not. Basically I feel that if the CCAA's June referral group just finishes off June '05, then we're going to be looking at our referral being at the earliest this Sept. If they manage to push into July '05 say to around the 8th, then an August referral for us seems likely. Some people feel like the CCAA will get back to matching around 3-4weeks worth of LIDs starting with next months group. I'm not so sure that will happen although I definitely like the sound of it.
