time at the zoo...

We had the priviledge of being able to spend several hours with Jim, Karen, and their son Kai last Sunday. They were on vacation and were spending some time up in the mountains, but had a few days here in Denver. They were part of our travel group to China. Kai is from WanZhou, ChongQing as Autumn is. They are a wonderful family and we enjoyed the time at the zoo immensely. Kai and Autumn seemed to get along just fine and both seemed to really have fun. It was a bit of a hot day and both hadn't had really good naps the day before, but considering; they were great and it helped us parents relax and enjoy it all.

I'll be posting more after a few days....Autumn's Birthday is Thursday (the 4th) and we are starting JCCC Chinese Class Saturday morning the 6th, which will be followed by another trip to the zoo and then a small B-Day party for the spicy-girl. I'll definitely have some words and photos to share.
