okay so i'm alittle behind...haha. but it's been alittle crazy around here, not to mention daddy and mama have been sick.
anyway, here is a small slideshow of some of our pics from our trip over Thanksgiving. Autumn had a wonderful time and did very well almost the entire trip. I say almost because towards the end I think she was alittle ready to get home because she started acting up a bit. It didn't help that her sleep schedule and well...her whole daily schedule got turned upside down regardless of how hard we tried to kind of stick to it. but that's a 2year old for you!
Autumn enjoyed visiting her grandma and papa at their home. We went out a few times, walked around the neighbourhood a couple of times (although it actually got cold and windy there!), and went to a CHL hockey game. That was alot of fun...and Autumn definitely enjoyed that. Her fave thing though I think was the skating taco. yup...there was a person dressed like a taco for one of the taco chain restaurants and was skating around during the intermissions throwing coupons and such out to the crowd. Autumn for some reason got a big kick out of that taco.
I'll write more later...it appears that I'm being summoned by the spicy-girl. D'Oh! well, to quickly finish, she did exceptionally well on the plane trips...one couple on the flight back commented that they would have never guessed a toddler was on the plane because she was so well-behaved. (my child...behaved?!) The one really funny thing...something that got me was while we were going through security at the OKC airport. Taking into consideration that when we left and went through security Autumn saw us taking stuff off and out and putting them into the trays. I told AR that we needed to take our shoes off, put everything in the trays and go through the little gate thing. So fastforward to us in OKC going about to go through security. G and I start putting our stuff into the trays and Autumn sits right down by me and starts taking her shoes off and yells "Daddy! Shoes!" as if to remind me to do that. I looked at G and started chuckling. Then, as we were about to walk through the detector, the TSA girl told me that I needed to take AR's hat and sunglasses off. no problem. Then she said I'd have to have her jacket off. So as I started to unbutton her jacket and tell her that we needed to take it off to go through the gate thing, she starts fussing and says "nooooooooo!!!". almost instantly the TSA girl says.."umm okay don't worry she's okay". obviously she was well trained in the finer points of not pissing off a toddler at the airport. HEHE!
will write more real soon...enjoy the pics! :)
