AR's first real outing...and AR being AR

so we had a family get together this past weekend up at Snow Mt. Ranch, which is just north of Winter Park. It's a lovely area, although this year the pine beetle infestation has done considerable damage to the trees.....which is very sad. Anyways, we all got together there to have a couple of days of fun and "getting away from it all" times. This was Autumn's first real outing. We've been planning on getting out and doing some hiking or things like that, but there's always been something else going on or we just never got around to doing it.
Autumn was awesome. She had some trouble getting to sleep, but she's been like that here at home for the past couple of weeks. Otherwise, she did really well and just had a blast at whatever we were doing. And of course, she loved being the centre of attention! We all took turns at a climbing wall inside of one of the facilities. I myself gave it a go even though I'm acrophobic. Autumn really wanted to do what we were doing so we let her "climb" (i.e. hold onto) some of the rocks/footings. We went canoeing (AR stayed on shore however) and then Mama, Daddy, and AR waded around in the water. In general we just had a great time and it was wonderful to see Autumn take to everything as well as she did. She was even great in the car ride up and back (appx 1 hour and a half from home).

We decided that in the next weekend or so we're heading up into Rocky Mt. National Park to shoot some wildflowers and of course lots of photos of ms. Autumn. :)
