Autumn loves to "dance".
By dancing, I mean, I hold her and bounce up and down from flat footed to tip toes. Autumn then starts waving her arm around, sometimes doing the 'raise the roof' thing with her hand, and the doing the occasional head nodding. All this of course to dance music...or something with a good groove.
Now daddy-o (me) has started something quite hilarious.
Anyone who's ever seen 'Madagascar' knows the scene where the characters come across the lemurs having their party. And anyone who's ever seen this and remembers it knows the song. "I like to move it move it..." This song is also used (in it's entirety) for the credits. Autumn now LOVES to dance to that song and loves watching the characters on screen. Every time she sees the part leading up to the 'Move It' song she gets excited and looks at me waiting for me to pick her up so we can dance. The even funnier thing now is that I can just start singing it anywhere we are and her face lights up and she starts 'groovin'. She did that at Chili's today while we were eating lunch. My parents (who have been up visiting their one and only granddaughter for the past few days) just started cracking up. Much like myself who just loves to get her going. It's just wayyyyy too adorable and fun to watch her. :)
