evening thoughts...

so, as I finish up a few last minute things before turning in (early since we have to be at the airport at 4pm...) I find myself thinking of mostly one thing. When we next return to the house, we'll have our daughter with us. It's a very singular thought. And one myself and G are sharing. And, I might add, having an interesting time wrapping our heads around. I say that only because after all the years of hoping to have a child/children and then going through this process which ended up taking longer than we (or the agency) thought it would...we are finally at The Moment. Tomorrow morning we board a plane. Friday we'll arrive in Hong Kong. Sunday we fly to ChongQing. Monday afternoon we get our daughter. Two weeks from tomorrow we return home with her to begin the next chapter in our lives...and a new life for her. Everything has led us to this moment in time. And when we think of how on Monday we'll meet our daughter...hold her...look into those eyes...

There's nothing else we can even imagine.

So this is it until Hong Kong...
