OMG She's so adorable!

We received an Autumn update today! the referral pics and info was from May...this updated info is from a few weeks ago.

Taken 11.9.2006 (14 months): She's 28.8in tall...20.06 lbs. She is healthy and from the photo...still has "that look" ;)

We also received our Consulate Appointment. We leave 12.7 and into Hong Kong on 12.8
We fly into Chongqing on 12.10 and will either get Autumn that day or maybe Monday the 11th (I'm not sure yet)
Consulate Appointment on 12.19
Return home on 12.21
Obviously we have to finalise the flights and in-China travel and accomodations. By Friday evening though, we should have that all wrapped up.

About a week and a half until Autumn Day!

T&G,

Glad you enjoyed our blog. Lauren is the sweetest little angel and my boys (2 sons, 1 husband)are so in awe of her. She laughs in this tiny little voice and we all stop what we are doing and run to her. It is so cool.

I hear you have CA and the coast is clear to go. I'm so happy for you! Back by Christmas! It's such an amazing gift. Enjoy every minute of it. Safe and Magical Journey!

ps. just surround the laptop with undies (clean, of course) and socks and you're good to go! hee hee

Congratulations. She's adorable. Good luck on the flight over. We just got back from China two weeks ago. We also went to Chongqing (though a different orphanage) to finally be united with our little peanut. Chongqing is an interesting city, right out of "Bladerunner." For the rest of your trip be prepared to hear Autumn called a "spicy girl," which is how the girls of Chongqing are known, both for their strong will and their beauty (again and again we heard that girls from Chongqing are known for these qualities). On your first day, just cover the sink and go out and buy a case of water. A Wal-Mart isn't too far away. Don't forget to pack that thermos for the day trips (you'll need it for the bottle). Congratulations and best of luck.

T & G,
she really is adorable! From what you write about Autumn's lenght and weight and everything I guess we need to do some more shopping for our FuQi, I think all we have is waaaayyy tooo big, she will be 11 months when we meet her.
So nachos in Beijing is out of the picture then? We will go to Beijing on Dec 11, to Jiangxi on 13th and reutnr to B. on 20th. Back home Dec 27. You won't visit B then? Only Hong Kong (sounds Ok to me :)?
Have a safe journey (really soon!!) and I wish you a very Merry Christmas in advance! We'll spend this year's holidays on the Great Wall!
Hugs,
Ullis and Magnus
