It appears that there are several things that could or will happen this week.
1) the strong chance that our agency will receive our Travel Notice (tomorrow the 27th)
2) after they receive the TN, the Consulate Appointment (CA) will be made a day or two afterwards.
3) our visas will arrive in the mail
4) we may possibly receive an email from our agency with updated medical information for Autumn...and perhaps an updated photo.
5) after the CA is made we will receive an email from our agency that tells us when the appointment is and what our departure and return dates should be.
it's still hard to believe that we may possibly leaving around the end of next week. our agency had emailed us saying that they hope to get us going around the 7th. they said obviously that it depends on when the TN comes in and when the CA is, but they said 'be prepared to travel on short notice.' but yeah, while we're ready and anxious to get going, it's still hard to believe it could happen in less than two weeks.

I hope all five things happen in the next couple of days. So very anxious to get those travel dates. Hope you two are doing well, staying busy, and of course gazing at those sweet pictures of Autumn Rose.
TG definitely take your laptop if you can (from your RQ post)! I had no problems with my BLOG in China and I was in Hefei, Anhui (September 06) which isn't one of the bigger cities.
My family and friends loved following along and I loved having them with me.

Meetoo here from RQ's sight. Just got back from China the day before Thanksgiving. I had the time of my life. Lauren is amazing!
You asked on RQ's sight about a laptop. We did bring ours and I'm really glad we did. Many internet cafe's over there charge by the minute and there is a rumor computer's run slower to make more money. It's free internet service in room at the White Swan and we had a minimal fee in Changsha. At the end of a long day I'd unwind by keeping my blog journal, while lauren was snoozing. I know I didn't feel like draggin' my carcass downstairs at that point. We couldn't read our own blog over there, but had no problem writing it or sending it out.
