woohoo!!!! big rumour being posted is that there are several agencies now saying that referrals should arrive next week (early). our agency posted on their site today that they have been informed that the CCAA has started matching this next group.
Typically when they post this the referrals are sent a couple/few days later it has seemed. Two months ago when our agency posted that, the referrals started arriving the next day...as it happened, the CCAA had already sent the referrals. So...technically one could say that referrals will be sent in the next couple of days...or that they're already in the air and on the way. Personally I'm thinking that the CCAA will get them out Friday. (their Friday is our Thursday evening there-abouts) Which means if that happens we could get THE CALL as early as next Tuesday the 24th! I'm betting on Wednesday the 25th to be the Day, but at this point I'll take any day...LOL!
We're both starting to get very excited knowing we're now mere days away from our match. Gwyn says that it won't really hit her as real until she's looking at the info and pics of our daughter at our agency. (yes, we're going to go to the agency soon after we get the call...) I'm already starting to feel the long repressed excitement and joy and anxiousness swell up. This weekend we're planning on staying busy, going out, etc just so we don't go stir crazy thinking about it all.
All I can say at this point is that we're finally going to be parents. And in a few days we'll see (on paper) our babygirl. The wait will be over and then we can focus on preparing to go get her and bring her home. :)

OK, here's what you do.
First, use your right hand to take all of the change in your left pocket, and put it in your right pocket. Then, turn your hat around backwards on your head. Then, tie your shoelaces in triple knots, don't ask why, just do it!
Your referral will be here before you know it, and the aforementioned list of crazy things is just to take your mind off the wait! Hey, it worked for Tin Cup!
Seriously, have a wonderful weekend. And dream of all the beautiful babies waiting for their Mommies and Daddies to come and get them, and know that the ONE chile who is absolutely perfect for you in every way is already yours! She'll be in your arms by Christmas!

yes i know i was hoping to hear that the referrals were already on the way. but as the DW told me..."i'm not worried, i know that we'll be getting the call in a few days...one day this coming week." and she's right. (still doesn't make me less anxious LOL) Please do let us know if you hear anything!!! :)

thank you so much for the grin. that did work in Tin Cup and if I were a bit more coordinated, it might work for me. but I don't think my soon to be daughter wants a busted up dad just yet. LOL
we will have a great weekend...we're staying busy which will help, but as my DW said to me earlier today (she's just been full of wisdom and things to say today...) someone asked her from work if we heard anything....if we were matched. she said.."oh yes. we're matched already. they just need to be sent that's all". you're right too...our baby is our baby and now we're all waiting to finally meet each other. :) it's a wonderful feeling. :) thank you for the kind thoughts and words. and you are truly blessed. :)
