announcing the finished renovation, re-tooling, and re-stylising of our website. :)
yes, after several nights of reading through the techno-babble which is the Dreamweaver MX reference guide...I finally figured enough things out to get our website ready for Match Day and for after we return from China. It was alot of fun actually ...re-working the website. Not to mention it kept me busy. lol
I put new backgrounds on the pages: there are photos I found of fireworks over Hong Kong and jpeg files I created from Google Earth.
I put new music on the pages: I have an edit I did of 'in your eyes' from Peter Gabriel on the page for our daughter's pics and info. I put 'tai shan' from Rush on the newly created page for our photos from our trip when we return. Plus a couple of other songs I felt fit the 'mood' of the different pages.
Basically I wanted to have the feel of our website changed from "family waiting (and waiting)" to "family celebrating referral and the journey in bringing their daughter home".
I look forward to updating our website over the coming weeks and months with info and photos and such.
The countdown is on! -and we have a fitting place now to share our joy in words, sights, and sounds as we near Match Day and soon after, our trip to China.

YEA guys....IT IS OCTOBER!!!!! I don't think I have EVER been so happy to welcome a new month. Now how will we make it through these weeks?? :)
well bobbi I have to say I totally agree with you...I can't think of when I was this excited to be entering a new month as I have this time. I think these next few weeks will come quick.
Typically October is a busy month for us...things going on...lots to do. Before you know it we'll all be anxiously waiting to find out when they send those referrals out!
